The Portuguese EP TC National Championship get started on the weekend of 23rd and 24th of March at the CRAP track, located in Monsanto-Lisbon. It is a very fast and flowing track, although a bit bumpy on the main straight. Team XRAY Portugal took off to a very dominant start of the season with some very strong finish places by most of the team. Due to the bad weather on the previous weeks, the track was very slippery with some wet spots.

Qualifying
Bruno Coelho, doing is debut for the Team, TQ'ed 2 rounds of qualifying to claim the first spot on the grid for the triple A-main. Francisco Henriques was also on a good performance and TQ'ed 1 round to claim 3rd place for the A-main. Helder Silva and Pedro Moura both also driving really well and also get a spot on the A-main, 5th and 9th respectively. So 4 out of the 10 Cars in the A main were XRAY T4, proving it will be a platform to beat in the upcoming season.
Finals
Bruno Coelho continued is faultless performance and won the race on a perfect style, even if he had just a little time for practice with the car. Helder Silva was also on a good strike for the finals and finished 3rd, completing the podium of the 1st race of the year, wich also was a 2 out of 3 places in the podium for XRAY, nice one guys. Francisco Henriques had some unluck in the finals and finished 5th and Pedro Moura could improve is qualifying performance and finished 7th.
